To commemorate the 200th anniversary of the birth of the brand’s founder, the top luxury brand LouisVuitton recently launched a new season of high-end jewelry series-”Bravery”. This new work reshapes classic brand elements such as the “V”-shaped element, Monogram pattern, Damier checkerboard pattern, etc., aiming to pay tribute to Mr. Louis Vuitton’s pioneering spirit of bravery, innovation and breakthrough throughout his life.
Mr. LouisVuitton has created many iconic designs, the most famous one is Damier checkerboard, which is also one of the inspirational elements in this season’s new high jewelry products.
The LaConstellationd’Hercule necklace in this new product is inspired by the starry sky when LouisVuitton was born in the Jura region of France in 1821. The whole piece is mainly blue, with LV custom-cut star-shaped diamonds between the gemstones. The pattern, the whole picture is mainly blue, inlaid with LV custom-cut diamonds.
The LaFlêche necklace uses the “V” in the brand’s initials as an element, extending into an arrow shape, symbolizing LouisVuitton’s 3-year arduous journey to Paris in his youth. The main stone of this work is a 26 ct emerald sapphire. The main body is alternately arranged with sapphires, diamonds and rubies, reinterpreting the classic color scheme of the grandson of the brand founder GastonLouisVuitton.
LeMythe necklace is one of the most complex works in this new product series. It boldly uses a three-layer structure design and incorporates the iconic Monogram pattern, Damier checkerboard pattern and suitcase detail elements, showing a wealth of matching possibilities.
LaStarduNord necklace adopts a double ring structure, using a gorgeous diamond inlay to interpret the ribbon element that Nicolas Ghesquiere, the brand’s women’s design director, is good at. A Monogram flower-shaped cut diamond weighing 10.07ct can be seen on the side of the winding knot, shining with that dazzling light.
