NIRIT DEKEL, jewelry artist, born in 1970. Jewelry artist, born in 1970, now lives and works in Israel. Nirit Dekel holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in sociology from Tel Aviv University in Israel. She has worked in high-tech fields with a high salary. However, she was inspired by Chihuly’s commemorative exhibition at the Tower of David Museum in Jerusalem. Began to make glass and do art full-time. Now lives and works in Israel. Nirit Dekel uses Moretti glass from Italy to make glass jewelry using traditional lampwork techniques. Affected by the colors and landscapes in daily life, the jewelry she makes is brightly colored.
